On April 13th and 14th, LEVi presented electric light mobility with a wide selection of Light Electric Vehicles (LEVs) for the first time at a bicycle trade fair, with an impressive information stand of around 130 square meters. Under the motto "independent, free, conscious", we showed visitors a completely new and innovative range of mobility solutions, from eKick scooters, eCargo scooters, eHeavy-duty bikes, eMotor scooters to eLight cars and eLight trucks. In cooperation with leading manufacturers in the LEV industry, LEVi was able to impressively demonstrate the versatility and advantages of electric light mobility at VELO Berlin this year. The response was incredible!
A total of 19,000 mobility enthusiasts visited the trade fair, which represents an increase of 2,000 visitors compared to the previous year. Over 200 manufacturers and companies showed their innovations and products at VELO, which guaranteed a varied experience with time trials, exciting stage talks, children's courses, test drives and networking.
The sunny weather with over 20 degrees contributed to the great atmosphere and made the bicycle fair a popular and cheerful event for the whole family.
There was definitely a lot going on at our information stand and we were able to welcome a wide and interested audience. The HOPPER, a weatherproof e-bike for the city, was particularly popular and was a real sensation on the test track! But the hybrid e-scooter STEEREON and the e-light truck from SEVIC were also very popular.
Platz erreichte!
Not only were the visitors impressed by the LEVi offer, but politicians also showed interest. Berlin Senator Manja Schreiner, responsible for mobility, transport, climate protection and the environment, visited the LEVi stand together with Isabell Eberlein, managing director of Velokonzept GmbH, and found out more about the potential of electric light mobility and the importance of modern, emission-free urban transport. This topic definitely deserves more attention in politics.
We now hope for further constructive discussions with the Senate Administration in order to set the transport policy course for mixed transport with LEVs.
On Saturday evening we met with the trade fair participants and some other LEVi members who were there to celebrate the successful start of the trade fair in a relaxed atmosphere, in addition to exchanging professional information.
The wishes and needs of our members are our top priority, which is why we attach great importance to trusting exchanges and open discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.
This creates trust, encourages each individual in their actions and helps us to always tailor our offers to the needs of our members. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants and members once again. We are very pleased with the positive feedback and it strengthens our commitment.
Here’s to continued successful cooperation and many inspiring encounters – we look forward to the future together with you all!
