Nachhaltigkeitstage in den Schönhauser Allee Arcaden

From September 4, 2023 to September 9, 2023, the Sustainability Days took place again in the Schönhauser Allee Arcaden. The exhibition aimed to introduce the public to a diverse range of sustainable topics that can be implemented by everyone in everyday life. Sustainable healthy nutrition, environmental protection and the mobility transition were the main topics of this year's exhibition.

LEVs als Mobilitätsalternative

In discussions with visitors to the exhibition, it became clear that many would like to do without their cars, but that the bicycle as an alternative is often not sufficient for the various needs.

Only a few visitors knew that the electric light mobility segment now offers many vehicle solutions tailored to different needs, and so there was great praise for the informative exhibition.

Die Vorteile von L7e Leichtautos begeisterten

A frequently discussed topic that we heard again and again this week was dissatisfaction with the current situation regarding e-scooters. "They block our house entrances and are never parked properly" were the mildest phrases we heard. In most cases, however, we were able to calm people down quickly and point to showcase projects such as Jelbi or the mixed traffic in Barcelona, which show that things can be done differently.

A particularly large number of questions were asked about the L7e vehicles, the electric light cars. The visitors were enthusiastic and quickly recognized the advantages of these small four-wheeled electric light vehicles. The arguments that it is easier to find a parking space and that no special charging station is needed for charging aroused great interest.

Further questions related to the topic of "registration regulations for light electric vehicles". Most visitors were also not aware of what kind of driving license is required to drive an electric light car, for example, or on which roads and paths the light electric vehicles can be driven. There is a great need for information here.

education and information

The mobility transition is becoming an issue for more and more people. It is therefore important to do even more educational work on individual mobility alternatives and to highlight light mobility as a real alternative in order to achieve real CO2 savings in the transport sector.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Schönhauser Allee Arcaden for providing the space and Candy Storm PR GmbH for the organization.
